The OG League Super Rugby Pacific 26 Round 4
Chiefs & Canes blow outs and a couple of close crackers in the Brumbies v Reds & Highlanders v Force.
Super Rugby Pacific Round 4 saw tries a plenty with Chiefs & Hurricanes blow outs and a couple of close crackers in the Brumbies v Reds & Highlanders v Force.

In the OG League we saw both a new top score for the league so far in 2026 and a new top & bottom of the table. Like Super Rugby Pacific round 4 itself there was blowouts and close fixtures and plenty of movement on the table.

Trades
The trades of the round for the round 3 trade session were a somehow available Rivez Reihana (79 points) who looked back to form and still scoring despite the Blues thumping of the Crusaders. Speaking of the blues thumping, we saw the highly touted Codemeru Vai (34) get his first start and he looked electric, a little reminiscent of Mark “covered in spiders” Telea & a combination of Melani Nanai (settle down). Otherwise plenty of shuffling deck chairs, some managers playing a man down refusing to let their man go from their rosters and some just not trading at all and accepting their round 4 fate.

Round 4 Fixtures
Leicester We Forget vs. The Toole Shed
In a high-scoring shootout, Harry’s Leicester We Forget (706) finally broke their losing streak, shooting the absolute lights out with the leagues biggest score to date taking down Wylie’s The Toole Shed (625). Harry will be breathing a massive sigh of relief and put the makeup away (for now) with his big guns finally on the park & firing in unison.
The victory was anchored by a dominant performance from round top scorer Semisi Tupou Ta’eiloa (90), supported by a masterclass from Rivez Reihana (79) and a rejuvenated Jona Nareki (67). Caleb Clarke (66) and Leicester Fainga’anuku (61) ensured the scoreboard kept ticking over. With such a monster team score, it’s hard to believe there were even more points out there on Harry’s bench—Louis Werchon had a screamer with 69 points over Harry’s starter Jake Gordon (39), and Pita Ahki (33) outscored Kadin Pritchard (20).
For Wylie, it was a case of “what could have been.” Despite a heroic Billy Proctor (77) performance and and the ever-reliable Jonah Lowe (65) - who funny story, we found out on the weekend Wylie actually thought was ex Chief & current Leinster/Ireland player James Lowe. Fehi Fineanganofo (47) and Simon Parker (45) had strong showins and Wylie’s depth was tested early when Stephen Perofeta and Corey Toole were late scratches. Zarn Sullivan (46) and Josh Jacomb (24) both stepped up from the bench to fill the void, but ultimately he couldn’t bridge the gap against Harry’s firing front line despite having the third highest score this week. Tough one to swallow but it was back to the “Shed” with 1 attacking bonus point, narrowly missing out on a second, losing BP.
SAMISONIC THE HEDGEHOG vs. Lam & Order
In a nail-biter that came down to the final whistle, Sean’s Lam & Order (489) narrowly escaped with a win over Nelson’s SAMISONIC THE HEDGEHOG (465) and with that the BILBR (Brother In Law bragging rights). Nelson’s already thrown out multiverse theories but ultimately only has himself to blame for holding injured players and playing down an outside back that would have probably made the difference.
Sean listed a full starting XV but when Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii was pulled pre game he didn’t have any cover on the bench. Despite this setback Charlie Cale continued his elite form with 81 points, while Andy Muirhead (54), Devan Flanders (49), trade night pickup Triston Reilly (46) and Ben Donaldson (43) got it done.
Nelson, meanwhile, will be left wondering “what if.” While Filipo Daugunu (83) and Samisoni Taukei’aho (47) were immense, Nelson had massive scores from Beauden Barrett (68) and Anton Segner (37) left on the bench with no way to get them into the final tally.
Situti Down vs. Expecto-Pa-TRY-trum
Andrew’s Expecto-Pa-TRY-trum (620) bounced back from a rough Round 3 to comfortably dispatch Cargie’s Situti Down (495). In a case of rocks or diamonds, Andrew’s men have had 2 shockers and 2 huge weeks! Cargie mainly shockers this far into the season but in his typical style is building for the future.
The “Expecto” magic was back, fueled by his brilliant backs scoring tries a plenty in round 4 with Caleb Tangitau (72) and Bailyn Sullivan (69) the top of the logs. Not to be outdone, he also had a dominant engine room featuring Fletcher Newell (58), Isaia Walker-Leawere (54) and Brandon Paenga-Amosa (47) were also huge.
Cargie’s side leaned heavily on a massive Carter Gordon (88), a sharp Leroy Carter (80) and his first pick Timoci Tavatavanawai (64), but he was left short-handed with no backrow cover for Wallace Sititi who was initially named and then pulled citing a tight hamstring, nor Rob Valetini taking a wallabies required rest week. Quiet games from some of his big names , Sevu Reece with 4 points is nothing you see everyday, Noah Hotham (17) and some pedestrian scores up front. Codemeru Vai (34) in his first start looked very exciting and as we talked up all preseason on the pod looks to be one to watch this year.
Ofa Tu’ungaFAST & The Furious vs. Roigardians of the Galaxy
Blake’s Ofa Tu’ungaFAST & The Furious (696) put on a frankly unnecessary clinical display to dismantle Nabung’s absent Roigardians of the Galaxy (342). Much like in life, rather than deal with his problems, Nabung knew his roster was in trouble this round and decided to just take a snooze at the wheel. It’s cost him top place on the table and is replaced by his rival this week Blake.
Blake’s team looks like a juggernaut, spearheaded by starting Chiefs pivots back from paternity leave, Damian McKenzie (71) and Cortez Ratima (54). Quinn Tupaea (70) & Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens (59) were the other members to write home about and whilst he had great scores across the board we’ll also highlight his locks the industrious Lachlan Shaw (56) and Sam Darry (49) were very impressive. In a show of pure squad strength, Blake actually left Jock Campbell (58) and Cameron Millar (41) on the bench—points that would have been top-tier for any other team.
For Nabung, it was a weekend to forget. With five starters out and an empty bench, he was forced to eat multiple zeros. Codie Taylor (53) and Marcel Renata (50) fought hard, but without a full team on the park, they were never in the hunt.

The OG League Table After Round 4
Nabung’s Roigardians of the Galaxy has been dethroned from the top of the table as he threw in the towel this week. Blake’s Ofa Tu’ungaFast & The Furious is our new OG League table leader and deservedly so with the most fantasy points. This time Harry’s (Leicester We Forget) threw everything again at round 4 and boy did his lads deliver with the highest score we’ve had so far this season on 706 points. This hurts to write but we have a new bottom of the log, Cargie’s Situti Down just not delivering the goods but again he (I) assure you, am building for the future!
